Networks

There are several types of Network and these range from striaght forward plug-in and go to complicated setups. The most common setup up is using Ethernet cables. These can be connected either directly to the computer (if it has a network port built in, which most do.) or a network card can be installed. The other end of the cable can be connected to either another computer or to another piece of hardware such as, a router, modem, wireless network etc.

Network hardware has slowly been adding more and more functionality to users. It used to be purely a straight connection between hardware, but now there are many products that can provide services to the user.
For example: Belkin make a Network Hub. This allows USB hardware to be connected into the network and is then available for all users that are on the network.

Ethernet Networks

Wireless Networks (WiFi WiMAX)

Advancd Networks

Advanced network hardware has been coming on in leaps and bounds with some great products that are not only flexible but generally cheaper than the other options. Direct connection hardware has been increasing in range and with the introduction of WiMAX products can only continue to go forward.
